Parra for Cuva aka Nicolas Demuth, is a berlin based musician and producer who’s active in the genre of experimental electronica. His debut album Majouré will be out digitally on the 16th January in shops worldwide.

What does Majouré stand for? Majeure – the french force majeure? Superior force? One might explain the 12 tracks on Parra for Cuvas upcoming album that way, and they definetely deserve it. All of the songs feature distinct foundations of electronica mixed with a grand variety of musical influences of other genres.

Bringing up guest musicians such as the Los Angeles-based hip hop artist Nieve, electric soul diva Casey K. and the indian-based Monsoonsiren to form a wider space of musical aspects and influences around the tracks. Electronic world music at it’s best!

Parra for Cuva will perform the new album live on twelve tour dates in November and December, including his first show in Paris at Badaboum the 12th December. Accompanied by his band consisting of Lenient Tales Recording artist Jona mayr and chasonette Lui Lu they will perform a colorful and even brighter rendition of the tracks in an instrumental setup you won’t hear anywhere else. Nicolas Demuth alias PARRA FOR CUVA a grandi dans un petit village situé en Allemagne avant de s’installer à Berlin pour y faire des études de sound-design. C’est dans cette ville, bastion de la musique électronique, qu’il a su cultiver sa passion pour la production musicale en mettant ses nombreuses années de pratique du piano classique et jazz au profit de sa créativité sans limite. Il entretient une amitié de longue date avec la chanteuse Anna Naklab dont la voix s’accorde à la perfection avec l’esprit de ses compositions. C’est en collaboration avec elle qu’il sort son premier EP « Fading Nights », au printemps 2013 chez Délicieuse Records.
L’artiste Berlinois n’a pas dit son dernier mot, et il est actuellement en tournée où il fera un saut par le Badaboum pour présenter son album Majouré.
