Matt lee is from nottingham in the united kingdom. he attended a school in derbyshire and at 17 years old he started his first job.
his music career did not begin until 20 years later, when he visited berlin. there, he attended an open mic where he performed 2 original songs with just his guitar and vocals.
this inspired matt to write more songs and his debut album "beautiful thing� was recorded 6 months later at one million mangos studio in berlin.
the title track "beautiful thing", later received airplay on bbc radio introducing in the uk.
during the past 18 months, matt has performed in the uk, france, spain and germany at notable venues including the troubadour club, dublin castle, bedford and le petit journal.
