Power hungry CEO Toni Bossi of the infamous Bossi Corp has been plotting to control the population by harnessing the power of the sun, using the musical frequencies of his four most loyal employees to fuel his machine. However, the four “loyal” employees (collectively known as Sourface) are silently hatching a rebellion to override the machine with light and return sunlight to the world, ushering in ‘The Eternal Summer’.
Sourface is a psych-pop quartet infected by the spirits of London and Paris. The Anglo-Parisian group of longtime friends is cementing a reputation for eclectic fusions of buoyant funk, new wave, soul and jazz through a clutch of EPs and their most recent ray of sunshine, Solaire, encapsulating Sourface’s “unwavering positivity and infectious fun” (Clunk).
